Fabric Distressing

Concept: A news reporter on the scene is exposed to deadly mushroom spores that she inhales while on the job, covering a story about a new resort opening in the forest. The spores zombify her and she goes on a rampage, attacking her crew and the resort owner. These zombifying spores impact their victims by being inhaled and directly accessing the brain. This is inspired by the real parasitic fungus called ophiocordyceps unilateralis, which infects insects and other organisms to house its spawn.
