Directed by Dr. Andy Waldron

Stage Manager: Kimmy Kaur

Set Designer: René Nielson

Bremen Town's design was inspired heavily by classic German fairytale picture books, drawing heavily from the rich greens, reds, and blues featured in their illustrations. The challenge of designing this production was striking a balance between animal traits and commoner attire. The end result is comprised of a German-inspired working class silhouette augmented by eared hats and attached tails. Small details like paw patches on gloves and artificial flower petals on seams to suggest feathers gave subtle nods to the animals each actor played, instead of going for overstated, literal animal costumes.

Due to COVID-19, the tour of The Bremen Town Musicians was cancelled near the start of its run. Consequently, production images of this show are minimal. What is displayed below are images which reflect late stages in the design process.
