Custom Mandalorian Helmet

Concept: A customized Mandalorian helmet (as featured in the Star Wars franchise) made as a gift for my dad for Christmas.

The base pattern was acquired (free) from Punished Props Academy’s website.

Instead of recreating an existing character, I customized the coloration, markings, and accent pieces. I also added Aurebesh (the Star Wars common alphabet system) calligraphy that translates to my dad's old gaming username.

This was my first attempt at foam crafts, and I am excited to improve in technique and do more foam work in the future!

Materials:

● 10mm EVA foam base
● 2mm craft foam (accents)
● DAP Contact Cement
● Kwikseal (seams)
● Sealed with Plastidip
● Spray painted silver
● Detailed with matte and metallic acrylic paints
● Hot glue - used to attach protective shield visor
